Normal sudoku rules apply - every row, column and 3x3 box must contain digits 1-9 exactly once.

additionally:

XV rules:
- cells separated by X sum to 10
- cells separated by V sum to 5

All XV clues are given.

Kropki rules:
- cells separated by a black dot have ratio 1:2

Not all Kropki clues are given .

@RockyRoer: another player notified me that there was a response to my comment. Since it was a hidden comment, I solved the puzzle to be able to read it.
Since I am not a native English speaker, I have a bit of a problem interpreting your comment. My first feeling is that I should feel a bit offended, but I can hardly believe that is your intention. So: can you clarify your comment a bit? At least the Christmas part is clear to me; I wish you a Merry Christmas too!

Instead of Kropki, how about we call it a Kripke (like the character on The Big Bang Theory) Puzzle. "Solve this Sudoku ohh be subject to WIDICULE..." Frohe Weinachten ;)

Recently I have seen a lot of sudokus in which kropki rules should apply, but in fact they don't. In a kropki puzzle there is ALWAYS a negative constraint. That makes kropki such a powerful variant. In many recent puzzls kropki rules are mixed up with ratio rules. In that ruleset only the dots are placed that are necessary to solve the puzzle. Don't know if this is the right place and time to mention this though, since this is going on for a while...
