Unfolding U's Sudoku

Rules:
- The middle line of each “U” shape remains in place while the sides unfold to form a straight line
- The digits along each line are laid out where the line lands when unfolded (see example below)
- Digits along the thermometer increase from the bulb end
- Normal sudoku rules apply

Example: When the 'U' line is unfolded, the letters E-X and L-E are placed in box 7 and 9.

Finally got around to trying this, a fabulous puzzle! Particularly enjoyed watching the ends of the interacting Us form pairs which broke the puzzle open!
