Anti-Knight Silent Killer Sudoku

(Published on 15. July 2020, 11:10 by SudokuExplorer)

This is my first attempt at making a killer sudoku. Inspiration for this puzzle comes from this silent killer sudoku. The rules are very similar to the one in the link.

Rules for colour version:
Anti-Knight constraint = No two cells a chess knight's move away can be the same number.
In each cage, no number repeats.
Cages of the same colour have the same cage sum.
(Cages of different colour don't need to have different cage sums)
You can try this version on Penpa-Edit.

Rules for equal sign version:
Anti-Knight constraint = No two cells a chess knight's move away can be the same number.
In each cage, no number repeats.
Adjacent cages with equal signs next to them have the same cage sum.
You can try this version on Penpa-Edit.

I wasn't sure of the difficulty of this one, since there are some algebra tricks that make it a much easier puzzle.
I hope you enjoy solving this one!

Solution code: Enter the first row (left to right) followed by the second column (top to bottom) without any spaces/commas. Eg 123456789123456789

@zhergan I'm pleased you liked it :-). It was quite fun making this one, and the process gave me ideas for potentially a new one. Hopefully I will be able to tie all the logic together and make a future silent killer.

Very nice idea! Thanks:)

@marcmees I'm glad it went smoothly for you. There is an algebra trick which reduces the possibilities of the grey sum.

very nice ... solves smoothly once the values of the colored sums have been found

@Luigi Yeah, I left out the equal signs to make it look prettier. But cages with different colours may have the same cage sum.

Since cages with the same colour do have the same cage sum, I guess the equal signs are missing?

At first I wrote that the rules are identical to the one in the link, but they are very similar.
