Tsutan
In this puzzle, you must draw lines to connect letters and stars following these rules :
- Each letter must be connected to exactly one star.
- The lines run through cells of the grid, passing only vertically and horizontally the centers of cells.
- Each line must bend exactly twice.
- A path must never cross itself or another path.
- The letter indicates which part of the line is the longest : A (first segment), M (middle segment) and Z (last segment). A X indicates that there are multiple "longest" segments.
Here is an example of a tsutan puzzle from Naoki Inaba, in case I can't explain rules properly.
Sorry for the sudoku haters, my posts lately have only been sudokus. Here is something else for everybody to try.
You can use Penpa-edit for solving it on your browser.
Solution code: Row 4 , followed by column 7. Place the existing letters and "S" for stars. Use "I" for a straight line (both horizontal and vertical), "L" for a turn, and "O" (letter o) for an empty space. Example for row 9 : LSIOZIILXI
