Distanz Sudoku (WSC 2019 Leftover)

Fill the grid with digits 1 to 9 so that each row, column and boldly outlined 3x3-box contains each digit exactly once. Clues outside the grid indicate the distance (in steps) between two digits in the corresponding row or column. Digits are placed in order of appearance. (The clue 7-9:2 in a row means: the 7 appears left of the 9 and there is exactly one cell with another digit between them.)
