Ynaynig

(Published on 11. June 2019, 15:50 by Dandelo)

Put the 4 pieces together in such way, that the marked nodes meet in 1 point. (6 possibilities, counted without rotations).

Then solve the puzzle as a Yin-Yang: Fill each empty cell with either a black circle or a white circle. All white circles should form a single interconnected area and similarly all black circles should form a single interconnected area. There cannot exist any 2x2 cell region consisting of 4 same colour circles anywhere in the grid.

Solution code: Rotate the puzzle, such that the upper left piece is oriented as above.

Then the 8th column, followed by the 6th row, S for black, W for white.

Yes and no. I wanted just one possibility to get a grid, that can be filled with yinyang rules. But I made a mistake, the reason I had in mind was not correct. But there were some solvers (having the additional information).

So I gave the additional information in yhe conments instead of deleting the puzzle (and their solvings). I know it is not very nice anymore.

I didn't understand the need to start the puzzle with 4 broken pieces. Did that server a useful purpose?

@zorant: Dandelo meant in his 2nd and 3rd comments, that we shall use the following order for solving:
13
42

Sorry, I made a mistake the intended order was

13
42.

I thought it's the only possible Yin-Yang grid.

@zorant: 8th column, 6th row
But it's not the intended solution anyway.

1243 means

12
43 ?
