For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a different Sudoku variant every second Tuesday. I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.

Superconsecutive Sudoku
Apply classic sudoku rules. There is one circled digit N in every 3x3-block. If any digit in that particular block has an orthogonal neighbouring digit (either in the same 3x3-block or in the neighbouring block) that differs by N there is a dot between them. All possible dots are marked. (A dot on a bold line between two blocks can represent one of both differences ‘N’ of both blocks.).

Inspiriation for this type comes from WSC 2018.
