Neandertal-Tapa 1

(Published on 14. November 2018, 19:04 by JonaS2010)

Apply classic Tapa rules: Shade some empty cells black to create a single connected wall. Numbers in a cell indicate the length of consecutive shaded blocks in the neighboring cells. If there is more than one number in a cell, then there must be at least one white (unshaded) cell between the black cell groups. Cells with numbers cannot be shaded, and the shaded cells cannot form a 2×2 square anywhere in the grid.

The puzzle uses an early number system that only has symbols for 1, and "many" (+). All clues greater than one have been replaced by a +.

Solution code: Enter the length of the blocks of shaded cells in the following rows: Row 1, row 4, row 7, row 9.
