Sudoku Variants Series (243) - Clock Faces Sudoku

(Published on 6. November 2018, 00:00 by Richard)

For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a different Sudoku variant every second Tuesday. I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.

Clock Faces Sudoku
Apply classic sudoku rules. Four digits around a white circle are placed clockwise in a strictly increasing order starting from any one of the four cells. Four digits around a black circle are placed anti clockwise in a strictly increasing order starting from any one of the four cells. All possible circles are marked.

Inspiriation for this type comes from WSC 2018.

Solve online in F-Puzzles or in CtC-App (thanks Nick Smirnov!)

Very nice one, Richard! This puzzle gave me an idea and I think I am going to do it just like cam. :-)

@Phistomefel: you are more than welcome! :-) Fortunately sudoku types are not copyrighted, otherwise SVS would only contain less then 15 episodes!
Looking forward to your creation. ;-)

@panthchesh: Your Penpa-implementation of Richard's puzzle is missing a white circle in the crossing R56C67.

@cam: by the looks of it, you didn't wait long indeed! :-) :-)
I am not a great fan of Klein's bottles in sudoku, so I don't think I'll share your enthusiasm vice versa. ;-)
