Dear birthday child,

we congratulate you very much! In our opinion, if you have birthday, you have to get really warm with your new age, and of course with its divisors. It is a tradition for us to give a puzzle to the birthday child, in which his new age plays an important role.

That's why we made a Japanese cave for you. This is actually a normal Japanese Sums puzzle, except that the number fields form a narrow cave. I.e. they are orthogonally connected, do not contain any 2x2 area, and do not lock in black fields. In the Japanese Sums puzzle, you can use the numbers 1-9 and x, where x is your number ten. All number fields that contain exactly the correct cave hint are highlighted in colour. It doesn't matter which colour is used.

The hints for the sums are mostly cryptified. However, all hints are given in one of two different number systems. The bases of these number systems are exactly the two true divisors of your new age. Which hint is given in which of these two number systems you have to find out for yourself.

The cryptification is otherwise normal, the same letters for the same numbers, different for different. Only one of the letters is an Irrwisch, which represents a different number wherever it occurs.

And here comes the puzzle:

I have no idea what my issues were earlier... but I found the puzzle this time so enjoyable and smooth. Once one has their head around how sums in other bases work, it all flows so naturally. Thanks :-)

Phew! I don't know how many times I've started this puzzle and ended up at a contradiction each time. Today must have been my lucky day as it went through very smoothly indeed. Brilliant puzzle - thank you :)

@dante1: The puzzle is unique (but clearly harder) without knowing the exact age of the birthday child. But I think you have to use the fact, that the age has exactly two true divisors.

I tried solving this puzzle by ignoring the hints and deducing the number systems, but that didn't work, so I used the hints and eventually solved it. Is it even possible without the hints? Great puzzle.

Oh, tut mir leid wenn nicht alle Farbfelder gut zu sehen sind. Ich hab sie extra blass gemacht, damit man gut drauf schreiben kann.

by DIE BEIDEN ECHTE TEILER do you mean that the age is a number which has only 2 prime dividers for example 77 (11*7) but not 66 ?

Nur zum sichergehen: Die Summenvorgaben sind alle in zwei verschiedenen Zahlensystemen angegeben. Bedeutet das, dass z.B. die 45 in Zeile 8 nicht die Zahl 45 ist sondern auch in einem der beiden gesuchten Zahlensysteme angegeben sein muss?
