Identische Hinweise - Akari und Shakashaka

(Published on 23. February 2018, 14:36 by pirx)

The puzzle grids contain the same clues for two different puzzle types. Some clues have been replaced by question marks; a pair of question marks represents the same clue number in both puzzles.

Akari
Place a lightbulb into some white cells so that all cells in the grid are illuminated. Lightbulbs can give light in straight horizontal and vertical lines, until the rays meet a black cell or the edge of the grid. Lightbulbs must not illuminate each other. A digit in a black cell indicates the number of lighbulbs that are orthogonally adjacent to that cell. To a black cell without a number an arbitrary number of lightbulbs may be adjacent (maybe none).

Shakashaka
Place one of the four possible black triangles in some white cells (see between the puzzle grids), such that the following conditions are met.
  • The remaining white areas must form rectangles (or squares), oriented either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally,
  • Two white areas must not be orthogonally adjacent,
  • A digit in a black cell indicates the number of black triangles that are orthogonally adjacent to that cell. To a black cell without a number an arbitrary number of black triangles may be adjacent (maybe none).

Wonderful puzzle, it kept me going back and forth quite a bit!
