For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a different Sudoku variant every Tuesday. I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.
Cross Number Sudoku
Inspiration for this type comes from WSC 2007.
Solve online in Penpa+ (thx Nick Smirnov!)
Place all the given numbers from left to right or from top to bottom into the white cells of the grid and solve the sudoku.
Solution code: Row 5, followed by column 8.
