Alpträume

(Published on 27. March 2017, 23:55 by ibag)

Five puzzles are given: A big one and 4 smaller ones. The big one is a normal Japanese Sums puzzle with digits from 1 to 9:

And here the smaller ones:

The inner fields of these puzzles have to be laid beneath the inner fields of the Japanese sums puzzle, so that each puzzle lies under one of the four quarters of it. Each puzzle interacts with the part of the Japanese Sums puzzle on top of it:

Standard Skyscrapers with digits from 1 to 6: On top of each digit is either a blackened cell, or a digit which has the same rest by dividing by 3.

Standard Fillomino with regions which have 9 cells at most: On top of each region is exactly one blackened cell. If the size of the region is bigger than 1, this size appears exactly one on top of it, too. The other cells of the region contain arbitrary other numbers.

Standard Tren: If one of the pieces can be moved in a direction, the sum of the digits on top of it have to increase. Black cells are counted as zero.

Bean Salad: In each row and each column the digits 1,2,3 have to be written, so that equal digits don't touch, not even diagonally. Further there are 6 beans containing the digits 1,2,3 in arbitrary way. Two of these digits are orthogonally connected, the third one is diagonally connected to one of the others, so that there is a 135° angle. The numbers outside indicate the first number which is seen from this direction. From the digits of each row, each column and each bean, exactly one appears in the Japanese Sums puzzle on top of it. The other ones are covered with a blackened cell.

Solution code: The diagonals from top right to bottom left of all 5 puzzles in alphabetic order (of the German names, Skyskraper=Hochhaus). For Bean Salad and Tren - for an empty cell. For the Japanese Sums S for a blackened cell.

on 5. April 2017, 10:01 by Mody
@Luigi, ja die Blockgröße

on 5. April 2017, 09:25 by Luigi

on 4. April 2017, 17:29 by pin7guin
Nun ja - ein kleines bisschen abgewandelt. :-)

Supertoll!!! - und auch hier gilt Gabis Grundsatz:
Wer einmal genau liest, liest genau einmal... ;-)

Gabi. ok. s instead of - in Jap.sums helped. :-)
Amazing puzzle. longlife fan.

@pin7guin: Beim TREN sind alle Zahlen gegeben.

on 30. March 2017, 17:26 by pin7guin

on 30. March 2017, 10:33 by zuzanina

Phantastisch, Gabi. Einfach super, wie die Rätsel miteinander harmonieren. Und dir, Rainer, natürlich noch alles Gute. :)

@marcmees: Place blocks of the sizes 2x1 and 3x1 into the diagram so that they do not overlap and each block contains exactly one number. This number indicates the number of lengthwise movements of the block, permitting only movements in which the block does not extend beyond the edge of the grid and also does not overlap any other block. For illustration have a look here: http://wiki.logic-masters.de/index.php?title=Tren
