Draw a closed loop in the diagram (like a snake with same start and end-point) that doesn't touch or cross itself. The loop "visits" every field at least one time (it means: The loop touches every field at least in one corner).
Put digits from 0 to 9 into the white fields, so that every number appears exactly once in every row or column. The numbers in the "Summen" row and column indicates the sum(s) of consecutive digits ON the parts of the loop in the correct order. A '?' indicates an arbitrary digit. If you interpret the numbers as heights of skyscrapers, the numbers in the "HH" rows and columns indicates how many skyscrapers are visible from that direction. Zero heights cannot be seen.
ON the loop are no zeros. Every number is different from the solution of the last year.

Solution code: The digits of the fifth row and of the eigth column, followed by the size of all areas outside the loop, clockwise and beginning top left

I got stuck until I remembered I had to use the solution of the other puzzle, which I had kept fortunately :) Very nice, curious about the next puzzles in the serie. Thanks :)

Perhaps you can put a comment/link in last year's puzzle, that the solution will be used again!
I solved that 2014 puzzle but don't have the solution now, so I am deciding what to do...

Feld für Feld schöner Rätselspaß :)

Ganz, ganz toll.

RA_Lehrer: Yes. At one point, it's not unique without this information, and I suppose you cannot find a logical way to this point without the solution of the last year.

Doppelter Genuss. Nur die 3 Sterne verstehe ich nicht ganz.;-)

But, I do have an actual question too - is this puzzle only solvable if we've solved last year's puzzle?

@dm_litv:

Yes, someone does read them - you. And so do I.

People who spend their free time designing puzzles and posting them do so for a variety of reasons, but I suspect a common element is that they know people enjoy solving them and want to give that enjoyment.

Most of the people here don't have English as a first language, but many get help from someone to post in English, because there's a number of people like you and I who don't speak German. Auto-translators work oly part of the time, so it's nice that most authors arrange to have a friend help translate them to English...because they'd like us to have fun solving them too.

It's gracious of you that you are willing to help point out typos as part of that process!

Hat sehr großen - doppelten - Spaß gemacht, vielen Dank!

Spitzenklasse!!

Da sagst Du was!
