Tapa-Höhle 2

(Published on 20. March 2015, 00:00 by usp)

Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are connected by edge and there is no 2x2-square of shaded cells.

The numbers in unshaded cells are Tapa clues: They indicate the lengths of groups of shaded cells within the horizontally, vertically and diagonally adjacent cells. Such groups consist of cells that are connected by edge. Different groups are separated by one or more unshaded cells. The position and order of numbers within a cell has no meaning.

Additionally, the shaded cells form a Cave: Shaded numbers lie inside the cave. They indicate how many cave cells may be seen from that cell by looking in horizontal and vertical direction, including the cell itself. All cells outside the cave are connected orthogonally to the edge of the grid.

Multi-digit numbers can be Cave clues as well as Tapa clues consisting of several digits.

Solution code: The length of the longest sequence of shaded cells in each row, from top to bottom
