Schneewittchen und die sieben Zwerge - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

(Published on 23. October 2012, 20:56 by ildiko)

Martina had seen a baby blanket „Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs“ which she wanted to crochet herself. The blanket has 4 rows and 4 columns. There are 12 small square fragments which are placed around a large 2x2 square fragment. There are dwarfs with white, grey or black beards. Every dwarf has an object in his hand. Here’s a photo of the original blanket:

The small fragments are

A Dwarf, looking to the front, with a rake

B Dwarf, looking to the front, with a lance

C Dwarf, looking to the front, with a spade

D Dwarf, looking to the side, with a flower

E Dwarf, looking to the side, with a basket

F Dwarf, looking to the side, with a key

G Tree with an owl

H Tree with a pink bird

I fly agaric

J House

K Basket with apples

L Hare and castle

When she had finished the 13 fragments and wanted to crochet them together, Martina didn’t found the photo of the original blanket. So she tried to put her blanket together from memory.

She remembered:

1) The Dwarf with the rake and the tree with the owl are placed directly one upon/below the other or directly side by side.

2) There is a lot of yellow in the fragment in the bottom right corner.

3) The hare with the castle is anticlockwise 2 fragments behind the tree with the pink bird.

4) No dwarf looking to the front is placed in a corner fragment.

5) The fragments with the baskets are placed directly one upon/below the other or directly side by side

6) There is at least one cloud in the fragment in the left upper corner.

7) The dwarf with the lance is placed in the same row or column as the dwarf with the key.

8) The dwarf with the spade and any tree are not placed directly one upon/below the other or directly side by side.

9) The dwarf with the key is in the lower half blanket.

10) The two trees are placed diametrically. The bird is somewhere above the owl.

11) The small fragments with the dwarfs alternate with the small fragments without dwarfs.

12) At most one dwarf with a black beard is placed in one row or column.

Just when she got through sewing the threads and crocheting the blanket together Martina found the photo with the original blanket. She saw that she had made some mistakes. So Martina’s blanket looked not alike the original blanket. The baby who received the blanket didn’t care a pap for it.

Note: The 2x2 sqare fragment respectively the 4 part-fragments belong to the “rows”/”colums”. “Directly” means that there is no other fragment – small or large – between.

Solution code: The code letters of the 12 small fragments of Martina’s blanket, clockwise, starting in the left upper corner.

Diametral heißt doch so was wie "entgegengesetzt auf einer Linie, die über den Mittelpunkt geht".
Das würde hier passen.

Diametrically?

Very nice blanket!
Some details for the English clues:
clue 4: Now-> No
clue 10: I don't think diametric is used correctly here.

Ich find das Rätsel ganz toll. Ein richtig schönes Logical und für die Darstellung mit der Decke gebe ich die Höchstwertung in der B-Note.

@Eisbär
