Solution code: The age of the twins plus the blackened cells outside the loop.

The puzzle was nice and easy, but I had a lot of difficulty finding the solution code. I only understood the instructions for it after I started guessing the code and found it that way (by adding different sums to the twins' age and trying solution codes until it was correct).
I would describe the solution code as [the twins age], plus [the amount of cells that are inside the tapa wall, AND the corresponding cells in the slitherlink puzzle are outside that loop]. The potential number clues inside those cells are irrelevant.
So if the twins' age was 10, and there were a total of 4 cells that were in the wall in one puzzle but outside the loop in the other, the solution code would be 14.

@TJReds: The age plus the number of black cells (in the tapa) that are also outside the loop in the other grid.

perhaps the solution changes with the time. The twins are now two and a half year older than when the puzzle was published.
