Really cool puzzle. So much unique and refreshing logic and the way that it all resolves by the end is very satisfying.

Thanks! :)
And thank you for going through my whole catalogue. May I ask what has prompted you to do so?

Oh well I like going through and completing all the backlog when I find someone who makes interesting puzzles. I think I found one of yours through a comment on someone else's puzzle I enjoyed, and it was right after finishing a different catalogue so I started going through yours. Also I do all my sudoku on my phone so it's been very helpful that rich_27 has been making sudokupad links for every puzzle :)

Well, I'm honored and I hope you enjoy the rest of your journey :)

I really enjoyed this, what a lovely puzzle concept.
I spent way to long trying the same logic path assuming I'd made a mistake in executing it without realising I'd mistranscribed column 3's small number as a 2. I guess it felt like it fit because it has a nice effect on the puzzle's logic, but it does break it (unsurprisingly!).
Here's my sudokupad link, all small numbers correct: https://sudokupad.app/eap5lfrrs9

Thanks!
You're now encountering harder puzzles but they don't seem to faze you :)
Congrats!

Great puzzle! I really like puzzles where the solution path involves significant logical discoveries that require quite a bit of thinking to achieve while proving the solution a second time would be relatively fast. This is definitely one of those puzzles -- very satisfying!

I was motivated by Richard's no. 303 to solve this one, but this is harder...

It is!
Congrats :)

Mir hat es großen Spaß gemacht, aber ich fand es ziemlich schwer, (was aber auch daran liegen kann, dass ich mich nicht sehr schlau angestellt habe ;) )

@Richard that is correct.

Do I understand the rules right: the small 6 on top of column 9 means that there are at least four sandwich boundaries in column 9 that belong to horizontal clues?

Very nice. Was worth the headache

Precision about the number of sandwiches.
