Hello, this is my second puzzle on LMD, I hope you enjoy!
Flavour text is marked with italics, so avoid it if you couldn't give a flap about the birds.
The ravens and doves are gathering for their latest round of peace talks, but first they will have to negotiate the seating plan. The following rules must be observed at all times:
SUDOKU: Each row, column, and 3×3 box contains the digits 1–9 exactly once. Each bird has a rank from 1 (highest) to 9 (lowest). A few high-ranking birds have already taken their seats.
YIN-YANG: Colour every cell black or white. All black cells must form one orthogonally connected region; the same applies to all white cells. No 2x2 block may be entirely one colour. Birds of a feather flock together, but too many coos or caws spoil the broth.
DISTINCT COUNTS: Each row must contain a different number of black cells, possibly zero; the same applies to columns. The seating committee insists on a different partisan split on every perch.
DOMINANCE: Each digit in a black cell must be less than every digit in a white cell in the same row or column. The ravens outrank every dove on their perch.
Can you establish the pecking order before the meeting descends into a flap?
Lösungscode: Row 6, left to right.

love the description and bird theme! really gorgeous design. I initially found this quite hard - sunk over an hour into it with little progress. once i took a step back and restarted, this time thinking a lot more about the grander scheme of what the unique column count rules implied, i got it done in 30 min! Would have loved to have solution checking on :) easier to confirm whether or not i'd have been on the right path. once again, love the bird theme so much. great puzzle!
