Snake Bites in the Fog

• Normal 4x4 Sudoku rules apply.
• German Whisper Line: Adjacent digits along a green line must have a difference of at least 2.
• Renban: Digits along a magenta line form a set of consecutive non-repeating digits.
• Even Digits: A grey square indicates an even number.
• Fog: The board is partially covered in fog. Placing a digit correctly will lift the fog around it.
My first puzzle.
I was never able to stay interested in Sudoku for long, but recently Sudoku Variants have gotten me super hooked. I'd like to make something more bigger, interesting, and challenging next time.

The grey square denotes an Even Digit and this needs to be added to the ruleset otherwise there are two possible solutions

Nice ! But I considered R1C1 to be even because of the grey square but it's not listed in the rules... Can you solve it without this clue ?

What is the purpose of the gray square in the top left corner? If it symbolize an even digit it should be in the rules.
