I hope the suggested difficulty is not too far off - it has been quite a while since parity thermos appeared here!

Rules

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Equality: Any two thermometers visiting an equal number of cells have equal totals. A thermometer total is the sum of all digits on the thermometer.

Parity Thermometers: Thermometers see only one parity. Blue ones see even digits, orange ones see odd digits.
On a thermometer, digits of the seen parity must strictly increase from the bulb end and must also be strictly dominant. Digits of the unseen parity are unaffected by the thermometer, but do count towards the total.
Bulb-to-end examples:
Valid blue thermo: 2-5-6-1-8
Valid orange thermo: 3-4-5-4-7-9
Invalid of either colour: 1-2-3-4 (no majority)

well, it's a priori obvious that it's not level 1.
then, after recognizing the critical importance of the special rule, and already excluding anyone who is not quite familiar with the basic rule, and ...
recognizing that you will need extensive paper notes, and after working through a LARGE number of basic permutations, and hitting a brick wall, and realizing that you still have to work through an INFINITE yes infinite number of advanced permutations, it should become clear that this cannot qualify for level 2.
