Very nice. Regarding the rules, I don’t think it gives away much of the game to label each cage that has the same total with the same letter, then make the rule something like C is the average of A and B.

Very nice but hard. Rules confused me at first.
EDIT: Had to bifurcate the totals for the cages in box 9 though.

I'm not sure which would be the clearest wording for the main rule. Maybe "The sum of digits in two orthogonally connected cages is always the same"?

I don't think this works out. Could "edge" be a false friend translation error from "ecke", i.e. corner only?

Never mind. I got it. It means that the sum of two connected cages combined is always the same.
