Hidden German Whisper: Trinity
(Eingestellt am 14. September 2026, 12:00 Uhr von 72kchunshuai)
This is the final part of my Hidden German Whisper series. Maybe there will be a second season?
Part 1: Warm Up
Part 2: Follow Up
Part 3: Sum Up
Part 4: Trinity
Rules:
- Normal Sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1–9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
- Dynamic Fog: The grid is partially covered by fog and correctly placing digits may reveal more clues. No guessing is required or allowed.
- Thermometers: Digits strictly increase from the bulb end of a thermo.
- Renban: Digits on a purple line form a non-repeating set of consecutive digits, in any order.
- Region Sum Lines: Box borders divide each blue line into segments with the same sum.
- Lines mentioned above may only move from center to center. They may overlap only at endpoints, but never cross. Renban and Region Sum Lines cannot overlap with their own kind (even at endpoints), so each is a single line.
- Region: All (and only) the cells connected by Lines mentioned above belong to the same region. Digits MAY repreat within the same region.
- Hidden German Whisper: Hidden beneath each region is at least one German Whisper line. Each German Whisper line is at least THREE cells long, and lies entirely beneath the lines mentioned above. Adjacent digits along a German Whisper line must differ by at least 5.
Play on SudokuPad
Lösungscode: Column 9, from top to bottom, nine digits in total.

Brilliant, I absolutely loved this one. I wasn't expecting fog though.
I would like to see Simon on CTC solve these four puzzles. Thank you for creating them.

Thank you for the recommendation! I wanted to keep some ideas secret, so the fog was necessary. It's a long-term goal of mine to make puzzles good enough for CTC.

What a cool puzzle! It was not difficult to progress forward throughout the puzzle and figure out the implications of THREE instead of two cell hidden GWs. Great tetralogy(?), and hope this will continue on ;)

Thank you so much for solving my whole series! I'm so glad you enjoyed them!
