Rules:
Place the digits 1-9 once each into every row, column, and box.
A digit N on a square counts the number of digits in the (up to 8) surrounding cells that are less than or equal to N.
All possible squares are given.

Interesting idea, and the almost symmetric grid is very cool.
I might have missed some logic, but it felt like I had to do a fair amount of look ahead at times to exclude various possibilities.

There is some hidden logic with Lesser Comparisons that you may or may not have discovered that lets the puzzle require very few lookaheads, and I tried to keep those as short as I could. But it can be easy to not see the exact ways to avoid the other lookaheads.
