Whispering the Thermometers

Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 - 9 once in every row, column and box.
Thermometers: Digits must increase along a thermometer starting from the bulb
German Whispers: Adjacent digits on a green line must have a difference of 5 or more.
Custom Fog: Part of the grid is covered in fog. Placing correct digits may clear the fog somewhere in the grid.
Solve Online : Solution Check is enabled

This puzzle felt like that scene in a movie where someone quietly whispers for the other person to get closer and closer, only to suddenly yell in their ear.
I really liked the interactions between thermos and whispers, especially the early deductions.
