Dutch Flat Mates: Regionometers

(Eingestellt am 2. September 2026, 07:00 Uhr von ThePedallingPianist)

Appearing in Flinty's incredible Dutch Flat Mates series has been on my bucket list ever since I first came across it. I'm very good at procrastinating, but hearing that the series will be coming to an end in October gave me the kick I needed to get this thing set.

Try my other Dutch Flats puzzles:
- Moving Day? (sorry!)
- Top Floor

Try my other Regionometer puzzles:
- Regional Heatwave
- Regionometers

- Hysteria

Sudoku: Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Dutch Flats: Every 5 in the grid must have a '1' directly above it or a '9' directly below it. It may have both, but it doesn't need both.

Regionometers: Box borders divide lines into segments, whose sums must strictly increase from one end of the line to the other.

Lösungscode: Row 1 (top), left to right

@Franjo: Fingerprint? I see it as a reclining woman’s head resting in her arm/hand, chin on the right, wavy hair flowing down at the left. Reminds me specifically of some famous modernist sketch, possibly by Picasso, but I can’t quite place it… Fantastic puzzle in any case.

Very cool! I think I did not use 2 of the lines here, not sure what they were meant for.

Took me very long to reslize what two segment lines are here for. Great puzzle thx.

Thank you very much for creating and sharing this wonderful DFL-puzzle. (I think you put in at least two obsolete lines to make it look even more like a fingerprint?)
