Clones:
Cloning Working Overtime
Clone Alone
No Clone Out
Normal Sudoku Rules apply.
Clones: The six caged cells have a clone in the other eight boxes and are only found in the shaded areas of each box. Two sets of clones are given by the diamonds for one set and circles for the other (all circles are one number and all diamonds are another number).
Digits in cells joined by an X sum to 10. Digits in cells joined by an V sum to 5.
Digits in cells joined by a white dot are consecutive.
Not all Xs, Vs or dots are necessarily given.

The wording around the clones was a bit confusing to me, and I didn’t need the square/shade clones to solve. Nice puzzle!

pagedo: Oh no. You have given the game away.

Like others have said, ignore anything about clones, ignore the grey. All diamonds have the same digit, all circles have the same digit

I think i started this before the rules were changed. but thanks for that. I started lettering the four other clones, but found that colouring worked better.

Maybe this will help those unsure of the rules:
The six caged cells have a clone in the other eight boxes and are only found in the shaded areas of each box. Two sets of clones are given by the diamonds for one set and circles for the other (ie, all circles are one number and all diamonds are another number).

The rules are a mess.

I did understand 50% of the weird clone rules at best, but still, the puzzle solved with no problems just assuming the circles and diamonds were identical.

I didn't understand all the rules: i.e. what the shading means, and what "The 8 clones of each of the other 4 caged cells are not known and may be determined by the solver" implies (surely that could be said about any digit of any Sudoku grid, that they would exist 8 other times on the grid?)
However it doesn't seem like any of that's needed, unless I got lucky, all you need to know is that the circles are all the same digit and the diamonds are all the same digit; shading and cages can be ignored.
