Parity Python

Inspired by the 90s PC game version of Snake, where he ate apples rather than the non-descript things in the mobile phone version
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
A black dot indicates that one of the touching digits is double the other.
A white dot indicates that the two touching digits differ by exactly one.
Not all dots are given.
The 9 apples each contain a unique digit.
Draw a Snake on the grid. It starts on the apple containing the 1 digit, and moves orthogonally, passing through the apples in order from 1 to 9, ending in the 9 space. It cannot pass through any dots.
The digits on the snake obey the following rules:
1] Each pair of digits contains one odd and one even digit
2] No digit on the snake may be greater than the greatest digit on an apple the snake has reached.

Added rules to the description that had been accidentally cut off when transferring from Sudokupad.

I struggled a bit with the break-in, but once I was past that I loved the flow of the rest of the puzzle! There were some fun deductions here.
