SUDOKU - Place the digits 1-7 once each in every row, column, and irregular region.

ICHIKARA NURIKABE - Divide the map into islands (orthogonally connected groups of cells) and water (a single orthogonally connected group of cells).
- One island has been given.
- Every mountain contains a different digit. A digit N on a mountain indicates that its island has N cells, and contains the digits 1-N once each.

Thank you very much for creating and sharing this lovely Nurikabe hybrid. It reminded me of Niverio‘s The Carribean.

Very cool! If you ask the right questions at precisely the right time, you'll breeze through it. I was not so clever :P But that just made for a great discovery when I found the logic.

Side note I'm surprised there haven't been more Ichikara variants. Seems like a robust base ruleset that could play well with Sudoku or pencil puzzles.
