This puzzle originated from a collaboration with Holzanatom and is our first puzzle, where sudoku rules do NOT apply. Feedback is always greatly appreciated! The rules are as follows:
Place digits from 0 to 8 in the grid. In each row, there exists exactly one digit X (from 0 to 8) which appears exactly 9-X times in this row. X is different for each row. In each column, there exists exactly one digit Y (from 0 to 8), which appears exactly 9-Y times in this column. Y is different for each column. A digit in a circle indicates exactly how many circles contain that digit. Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio.
