Ouch! Those pincers are sharp! I am loving more and more the combination of line constraints and Kropki dots. Hope you enjoy too!

Region Sum Lines: Box borders divide blue lines into segments with the same sum. The sum may be different for different lines.
Kropki Dots: Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. Not all dots are necessarily given.

not really, because it gets you a critical digit, and then 14-17 is a small set to case.

It is one of those where if you miss a sneaky piece of logic you've missed it, otherwise it's quite straightforward. So I can see why this would get such mixed difficulty feedback.
Still, there's nothing painful or too abstract involved, it's very smooth when you identify what's restricted.

Yes, after the second digit it's pretty much GAS, but until then, it's very definitely 2*
For the people stuck: the RSL in Box 2 is actually very restricted

FINALLY! Maybe I missed something but finding even just the 2nd digit was a challenge. Shortly after that it swung back to being quite straightforward.
