Counting Sequences

This week's puzzle is the continuation of an approachable and well-rated series of puzzles which combine various types of lines with counting circles. Although the last week's puzzle had surprisingly few solutions, I hope that doesn't mean that you're becoming bored of this series :). Anyway, I definitely like both the logic and the appearance of these puzzles.

Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Digits must always increase or decrease along the gray sequence line, by the same amount each time.
- A gray circle indicates exactly how many circles contain that digit. For example, if there is a 4 in any circle, then exactly 4 circles contain a 4.

I updated the description of the sequence lines rule to clearly indicate that the digits must increase or decrease along them.

Re: Steven S - I did not know what ordered sets meant, and took it to mean if a line went around a corner something like 2-5-2 was legitimate. And it still only gave one admissible solution. Just a bit harder, ha ha.

Sticky for a bit, but if you do your homework it breaks quickly afterward. For me, that was a nice rewarding challenge without making me suffer.

In mathematics, the phrase "ordered set" allows repeats. The second rule should say "...a strict ordered set..." or "an ordered set with no repeats". Otherwise, there are multiple solutions.
