Spent over a half hour searching for the key insight on this one, fell into place instantly after that. Definitely worth it, thanks for the puzzle.

1* for me. This is unusual, because most puzzles are more difficult for me than what other people say.

2* for me. These always fool me. I see 1* and then I don't even look for certain things until I'm stuck.
I think this is really fun puzzle, but would've probably enjoyed it even more had I known it's 2*.
