Canary Counting

Hi, this is my attempt at a crossover between Sudoku and Nurikabe. I hope you enjoy it. I think there is some very nice logic at the intersection of the two rule sets. I hope the disambiguation at the end is not too hard; I think I could have made it a little smoother, but the grid is so pretty as it is that I did not want to add more clues. Best of luck :)

==============================================

Rules:

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Nurikabe rules:
The grid is divided into islands and a waterway.
The waterway is a single orthogonally connected group of cells and cannot contain any 2×2 areas.
Islands are orthogonally connected groups of cells. They may contain areas of 2×2 or larger.
The size of each island equals the largest digit within that island. Digits may repeat within an island if allowed by other rules.

Kropki dots:
Digits in cells joined by a white dot are consecutive.
Digits in cells joined by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio.
Each dot separates an island cell from a water cell.

Little killer:
A clue outside the grid gives the sum of the digits along the indicated diagonal.

If you enjoyed this puzzle and want to check out another Sudoku hybrid with a common puzzle type, I recently set a Sudoku × Minesweeper puzzle. It is harder than this one, but has a really cool intended break-in and some fun intersectional logic as well: LMG The Minefield

I loved every part of that, I wish it had more solves. The last island and the little killers were just sublime!
