Normal 9x9 Sudoku rules apply.
Thermometer: Digits on thermometers must strictly increase from bulb to tip.
Palindrome: Palindrome lines read the same in both directions.
Odd circle: A digit in a grey circle must be odd.
Each "thermometer" here is either real or fake. When it's real, it follows the thermometer rule. When it's fake, it contains a palindrome line and a grey odd circle, and therefore follows the palindrome and odd circle rules. Players need to distinguish whether the thermometer is real or fake by themselves.

I think the ruleset is ambiguous re the fake thermometers. Are you saying (a) a grey odd circle followed by a palindrome such that 5-1-2-8-8-2-1 would be a possible solution, or (b) a grey odd circle, which is one end of the palindrome such that 5-2-8-8-2-5 would be a possible solution? Or is it intended to be ambiguous such that both are possible?

It's the latter. Since the palindrome line does enter the cell with circle, it must be a part of the palindrome.
