Whispers of Lines and Sums

Normal sudoku, German whisper line (green), Dutch whisper line (orange), region sum line (blue), and renban line (purple) rules apply.
Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column and 3x3 box.
German whisper: Adjacent digits along a green line differ by at least 5.
Dutch whisper: Adjacent digits along an orange line differ by at least 4.
Region sum: Box borders divide a blue line into segments which have the same sum.
Renban: Digits on a purple line must be a set of consecutive, non-repeating digits in any order.

Damn this thing just refused to give up. I felt like I kept getting numbers, but none of them ever opened up the puzzle.
Eventually I tried to exclude a combination and just ended up running through so I can't really say I "solved" it.

the middle game key is found in box 1. the restrictions are not "obvious", but they are there

Really nice. Close to three stars for me because of how long it took + how difficult it was for me to see the final bit that broke the puzzle open. Thanks for sharing.
