[TSL][S2T1] Double Vision

(Eingestellt am 20. April 2026, 22:09 Uhr von FischmitFahrrad)

This was part of a Setting Competition held in 2026. The Skunkworks League was hosted by @damasosos92.

As of the prompt for Turn 1 of the second season of TSL the goal was to create a latin square using the given clues. The original clues may not be altered, but the setters were free to add any additional clue.
After the feedback from the judges I reworked the puzzle to keep my original idea while making the solve path smoother. In case you want to solve the original submission for the league you can find it here.

Rules:
Overlaps: Every little square is the center of a 3x3 box. Fill the grid with the digits 1 to 9 so that in each row, column and aforementioned box each digit occurs exactly once.
If a digit within one of the aforementioned boxes is equal to its position in that box (read from left to right and top to bottom, as shown below), that cell's value is doubled for the following constraints.
1 | 2 | 3
4 | 5 | 6
7 | 8 | 9

Renban: Values along a purple line form a set of non-repeating consecutive values in any order.
Double Arrows: Values on grey double-arrow's lines sum to the same total as the values in the attached circles.
Skyscraper: Digits outside the grid are skyscraper clues. They give the number of values in the row or column the clue 'sees'. Values obscure smaller and equal values from vision.
Kropki: Values separated by a white kropki dot must be consecutive.
