I have been working with interacting Whispers and Renbans with some dots added - this is the fifth puzzle of my explorations. I thought I had come to the end of my ideas, but I decided to try out something rather different - an idea related to some of the previous ideas, but which I have never before been able to make work. This combination of clue types, and what I have learned from setting the other puzzles turned out to be just what I needed. The idea involved may not be quite obvious. And even when that is seen, clear thinking will be required.
This puzzle does solve by brute force in various ways. The real test is to find a break-in that enables an elegant and sufficient beginning from which the puzzle becomes much easier. If your break-in does not resolve the black dot, you have not taken the logic far enough.
Puzzle rules
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Adjacent numbers on a green German whisper line differ by at least 5.
On a pink Renban line the digits form a consecutive set with no repeats. The cross is a single 9-cell Renban
Numbers separated by a white dot are consecutive. Where two numbers are separated by a black dot, one is twice the other. (Partial kropki)

Very nice! I did not go your intended way, but still solved it in 30 minutes without brute force. I really liked reading about your way though. Thanks

For anyone who has liked these puzzles, the genesis of some of the ideas came from some previous puzzles. "Game, set and no three in the corner" was the first and is a pure killer puzzle with straightforward ideas (https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/Raetsel/zeigen.php?id=000AV8). "Happy Birthday to Naomi" is more in line with this set, especially the version without the extra cage (https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/Raetsel/zeigen.php?id=000HHZ). And "Three in the Spotlight" (https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/Raetsel/zeigen.php?id=000B6R) was one of a pair with the no three in the corner one and also has something in common with the ideas I've developed further.

Cool puzzle. Saw the description and rating and started with some trepidation. But turned out to be quite smooth. Great break-in.
