About This Puzzle
This is the second edition of "Dazed Out", a puzzle series primarily built around the Sudoku variant "Chaos Construction". The series began with a very challenging puzzle, so now it's time to have something more chill, perhaps even a snack for experienced solvers.
RULES
-
1. Chaos Construction:
Divide the grid into 9 regions that each consist of 9 orthogonally connected cells.
Place the digits 1-9 in every row, column and region once each.
-
2. Arrows:
A cell that contains an arrow indicates the number of cells that belong to its region in the given direction (does not count itself).
For cells with multiple arrows, the digit is equal to the number of cells in all directions combined.
3. Killer:
Digits in a cage can't repeat, and they must sum to the indicated value.
Lösungscode: Row 2, and use dashes (-) for region boundaries (example: 12-3456-789)

Took me a solid hour to solve this one. Much more approachable for me than Gold Rush. And incredibly fun to boot! I loved constructing the regions, it's my favorite part of chaos construction puzzles and the arrow logic here was really nice. I was a bit spooked once I realized there was no caveat about cells of a different region blocking line of sight of the arrows, but it all worked out in the end.
I hope the difficulty is going to stray more towards this end of the pool but its an entirely personal hope and I hope you continue to make quality puzzles of whatever difficulty floats your boat.
.proxz14's response: In terms of difficulty the next few puzzles are going to be more like in between this one and gold rush for the most part, I may try to make a few extra entries closer to this one later on. The one right after this is going to use the gold cell rule but be far easier since it will have an extra constraint to help with it.
