Synergenesis wanted to collaborate on a puzzle, and this is what we came up with! It combines the fun of sudoku with the fun of a logic grid/Einstein puzzle!
Sudoku rules are classic (renban, german whisper, thermometer, arrow, quad circle, X, V).
***Every sudoku digit has a favorite color and a favorite shape. Colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, and silver. Shapes are circle, triangle, square, star, diamond, heart, crescent, cross and pentagon. Every digit is located on its favorite color and shape.***
1) 1’s favorite shape is not a heart.
2) There are four digits whose value is equal to the number of letters in their favorite color.
3) The digit whose favorite color is yellow has the star as their favorite shape.
4) The pentagon is the favorite shape of an even digit.
5) The digit whose favorite color is silver is greater than 6.
6) The digit whose favorite color is purple is never orthogonally adjacent to two of the same number at once.
For clarity, the cell in row 9, column 2 is a pink cell. Also, the circles in the thermometer and arrow are not shapes for the purposes of solving the puzzle. A true circle is displayed in row 4, column 5.
The following tool will prove quite useful: Logic Grid
Lösungscode: column 3

As soon as I saw this on CTC, I was so excited. Just over 1 hour and 30 minutes, and by far the hardest rated sudoku I've ever solved. Thanks so much!
Reply: Oh my gosh thank you!! And congrats - first of many I am sure!

I got a wrong start because I had miscounted and somehow thought purple had five letters... Tried to reverse the wrong implications but in the end it was easier to start over. The second time it was really enjoyable!
Reply: Sometimes the hardest part of sudoku puzzles is the little things like adding and counting!

Definitely the hardest Puzzle I ever was able to solve. Took me 150 Minutes because I overlooked a few obvious things.
Very Nice, even though it took me this long, I never wanted to stop or get help during this puzzle.
So many different ways to think were combined here.
Very Lovely
