As the second part of the prompt that Juggler put out for Setting Saturday, we had to choose at least one of the new variants created by someone else for part 1 and set a puzzle with it - but this time, no given digits were allowed. I opted to combine Bigger than Me by Marty Sears with Modular Spirals by Nell Gwyn - albeit with some slight modification to fit Mod Spirals to a square grid. Much thanks to Nell and others for testing and catching a uniqueness issue!

Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Modular Spirals - The four digits surrounding a purple vertex dot have the following properties: 1) they form a thermometer going clockwise (a set of strictly ascending digits) where the start and end point must be deduced, 2) along that thermo, digits must fulfill modular line rules (every set of three consecutive digits along the thermo must have a different remainder when divided by three). An example of a valid set surrounding a dot could be 1, 3, 5, 7.
- Bigger Than Me - the digit in a square of a certain color indicates how many circles of that same color contain a digit larger than itself.

Thank you for the puzzle.
It looked a bit intimidating at first, but you really made this combination of variants approachable.
