U-Bahn

I started solving U-Bahn puzzles on May 21, 2025, and it quickly became my favourite genre. Since then, I've completed every puzzle with this label on LMD. I'm grateful to the many friendly and talented setters and solvers who inspired me. So, after several hybrids, here is a classic U-Bahn. The difficulty is expect to be about 4-4.5*. Have fun, and I hope you enjoy it!

Rules
Draw a totally connected loop network through the centers of some cells, which may branch or turn, but may not have any dead ends. A clue outside the grid indicates how many times the corresponding line shape (i.e. cross, branch, straight line or turn) appears in the corresponding row/column, irrespective of rotation.

Cool and intricate main ideas in this one. It took me a (long) while to grasp the implications of certain columns, but the solve was very rewarding and somewhat satisfying overall x)
