Play in Sudokupad
Hello everyone! I left boxes 1, 4, and 7 mostly empty to keep it puzzling until the end. No guessing is required.
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Global Entropy: Every 2x2 box must have at least one low, medium, and high digit (123, 456, 789).
Black dots connect cells with a 2:1 ratio.
White dots connect consecutive cells.
Not all dots are necessarily given.
Lösungscode: Column 1 top to bottom.

I understand the criticism of the mid puzzle, but the break in was nice and the finish was nice. thanks for posting

Very nice! The start is quite doable and smooth, the midgame is extremely fiendish. I could only get through by too much look ahead for my liking. The finish is pretty. I enjoyed it very much apart from the midgame. Thanks

I assume you got stuck with a 1389 quad, which is quite a difficult moment. I think when I solved it the first time I could not see the resolution without extensive testing. I don't know the best way to describe it but I think it is some sort of extended xwing with coloring too that resolves it the quickest.
I probably should have put a few dots in box 4 to avoid that solve path.
