This is the seventh puzzle of the NKSA Weihnachtskalender. A cheese fondue is a common swiss meal we have in the winter. The puzzle was created in the Impulswoche Mind-Benders 2025. Have fun and leave a comment.
Rules:
Normal 5x5 Chaos Construction rules apply: In every row and column, each digit from 1 to 5 occurs exactly once. In addition, there are 5 orthogonally connected regions in which each digit from 1 to 5 occurs exactly once. The shape of these regions have to be determined by the solver.
Digits in cells with a fondue caquelon give the number of seen cells of the same region horizontally and vertically including itself. Region borders block the view.
The two cells separated by a fondue fork belong in different regions. Their digits add up to 5.
Lösungscode: The digits of the region containing the center cell (r3c3) in reading order.

The Fondue in r4c4 is only visible in the picture, not in the puzzle itself. I managed to solve it regardless, but maybe it would have been easier. Nice puzzle though

Delicious snack. I like the use of the Vondue Vork to sum to five :)
