Digits along a purple line form a non-repeating set of consecutive digits in any order.
A digit in a square indicates the number of cells it sees in its row and column that are smaller than itself, where digits larger than itself block vision.

Great puzzle! Because of a previous introduction puzzle with this square rule, where I learned a lot about the consequences, I agree with samuel1997: 3.5 to 4 stars for difficulty. Very enjoyable solve, thank you!

The rule means the digit in the square sees all the digits smaller than itself in its row and column, until it reaches a digit larger than itself.
So let say row 2 is 1458[7]6923, where 7 is the square digit, the 7 can only see digit 6, as digit 8 and 9 block all the digits behind them.
