Su-duo-ku (aka Project "4D Sudoku"): Apollo & Artemis
(Eingestellt am 28. September 2025, 16:00 Uhr von Playmaker6174)
The following project is inspired by the 4D Sudoku puzzles from FryTheGuy.
This isn't among my three main projects as mentioned in the past, but rather something I made that utilizes an idea I have for a cool multi-grid puzzle, and it's been a while since I made one.
The initial idea was drafted right before the completion of
Modern Art 2 but I only finished the entire thing last week and it was rather quicker than how I planned at first.
After this project, I likely will take quite a long break, and I hope this will turn out well at the end!

Rules:
In this puzzle, two 9x9 Sudoku grids are given side by side and normal Sudoku rules apply to both grids.
1) Extra constraint for each grid:
+ For the left grid: Within a cage, digits don't repeat and they sum to the small number written in the top left of that cage.
+ For the right grid: Digits along an arrow sum to the digit in the circle cell attached to that arrow.
2) Interactions between both grids:
+ If a cell in the left grid contains a
high digit - i.e. it contains a digit that's
at least 6, the cell in
that exact same position in the right grid also has to contain a
high digit, and vice versa.
+ Two particular cells marked by
yellow sun/blue moon symbols in both grids must contain
high digits.
Puzzle:
+ Penpa plus (recommended):

+ Sudokupad:
Horizontal version -
Vertical version -
Left grid only -
Right grid only
Good luck and have fun solving!
Lösungscode: Enter column 5 from top to bottom of both grids - enter from the left grid first then enter from the right grid (18 digits long with no space).

Hi playmaker
Does the rule also apply to low digits meaning both grids have 5s at same places?
——
Hello there! Yes, by consequence that rule also applies to digits lesser than 6 too, but the values aren’t necessarily the same, it’s just provided that two cells at the same positions have the same high/low parity.

Very intricate interactions between both grids, really takes a lot of time to take it all in!
