Dutch Flat Mates : N-cycles
(Eingestellt am 3. September 2025, 07:00 Uhr von goodcity)
If you are interested in the Dutch Flat Mates series created by Flinty, you can find the others here.
Normal sudoku rules apply.
- 5's live in Dutch Flats : All 5's in the grid must have a 1 directly above it or a 9 directly below it. It may have both, but it doesn't need both.
- n-cycles: Select a digit a in one of the rows or columns. Then go to position a of that row/column, which contains the digit b. Then go to position b of that row/column, which contains the digit c, and so on. An n-cycle is the set of n unique digits in this sequence.
- Square : A cell containing a square and the digit n indicates that row has an n-cycle which includes the digit n in it.
- Circle: A cell containing a circle and the digit n
indicates that column has an n-cycle which includes the digit n in it.
Not all squares/circles are necessarily given.
Inspiration for this puzzle comes from this great puzzle from mathpesto.
