Pokerface

(Eingestellt am 20. August 2025, 02:17 Uhr von Villse)

I got an idea for a new ruleset that I wanted to try out and I finally managed to make it work, hope you enjoy

Rules:

Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1–9 once in every row, column, and 3×3 box.

Poker hands: Each cage represents a hand in poker, which consists of five cards (cells), except for a folded hand, which consists of only two cards (cells). If a cage does not contain five cells (with the exception of a folded hand), cages with the same value in the top-left corner belong to the same poker hand.

Example: r1c2, r3c9, r4c4, r6c6, and r8c4 belong to the same poker hand.

Every poker hand listed below appears once and only once.

Example: A cage cannot consist entirely of odd digits and also have three of the same digit, since that would represent both a flush and three of a kind.

Fold: The hand (cage) consists of only two cards (cells).

High card: All digits are different.

Pair: One pair of digits is the same.

Two pair: Two pairs of digits are the same.

Three of a kind: Three of the digits are the same.

Straight: All the digits are consecutive.

Flush: All the digits are the same color.

Full house: Three of the digits are the same, and the other two are the same.

Four of a kind: Four of the digits are the same.

Even digits represent black cards, and odd digits represent red cards.

The digits in a poker hand must sum to the number in the top-left corner.

Digits may repeat within a cage.

Hopefully, I’ve managed to make the ruleset clear enough! Happy solving!
