So sujoyku launched a prompt to make puzzles using addition and multiplication, and here I implemented region product lines and multiplicative cages along with adder modifiers as introduced by Silverstep's On The Bottom Shelf.
-
Normal sudoku rules apply.
-
Adder Cells:
- Place nine adder cells so there's exactly one in each row, column and box.
- Each adder cell increases the value of all orthogonal neighbor cells by D, where D is the digit in the adder cell, but it doesn't increase its own value.
- Digits may not repeat in the adder cells.
-
Box borders split red lines into segments with the same value product. That same product may be different for different lines.
-
Values in a cage have a product equal to the indicated total.

Great puzzle! I liked the fresh view on multiplication, when the grid basically fills itself in after some thought. I was awaiting double modifier cell near the beginning, but got the treat only near the end. Not nearly all of the line segment were useful, but this was a rather great-looking grid! Thanks again, aqjhs!

Amazing puzzle. I love the math depth. No calculator made it a great challenge for me. Awesome fun thx.
