PUZZLE

RULES

Sudoku: Normal Sudoku rules apply; place the digits 1-9 once in every row, column, and 3x3 box.

Reflector Cells: There exist 9 Reflector Cells in the grid such that there is exactly one Reflector Cell in every row, column, and 3x3 box. Digits of Reflector Cells do not repeat. A Reflector Cell will change the line of sight for any directional clue it's seen by, with the following rules: If hit at a 45° angle, the line will change direction by 90°; if hit at a 90° angle, the line will change direction by 180°, if hit at a 180° angle, the line will end. The orientation of the Reflector Cell is determined by it's digit: if it's even, the orientation is vertical, if it's odd the orientation is horizontal.

Consecutive Pairs: Numbers outside the grid count the number of consecutive pairs of digits seen in the indicated direction, each clue can have its line of sight reflected at most twice. (For example, the following sequences can be valid for a 4 clue: 12345, 975643218, 98[7]4[5]798 where [7] and [5] are reflector cells hit at a 45° angle, 12[3] where [3] is a Reflector Cell hit at a 90° angle.

Killer Cages: Digits in a cage do not repeat and sum to the value indicated in the upper leftmost corner.

Example Lines

This was set for Ratfink's Twitch Train for Scojo to solve. Based on this puzzle from the weekly prompts, Scojo wondered what would happen if the Mirror Cells reflected the lines. This is the result!
